Talent Acquisition Operations Representative

The Talent Acquisition Operations Representative supports the implementation of a results driven strategy, consistent with the strategic business vision of San Manuel Band of Mission Indians (SMBMI,) and San Manuel Casino (SMC). This job function will serve as the candidate's primary point of contact for onboarding, and is responsible for the data integrity of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This role will work closely on recruitment and onboarding initiatives.
Onboarding
Under the oversight of the Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist,
Supports the successful execution of an efficient and effective onboarding candidate experience for internal and external candidates. Provides a flawless candidate experience through the lifecycle.
Maximizes overall transaction accuracy and efficiency as related to the new hire process, employee transfers, promotions and terminations including all interim employee transactions and electronic and manual recordkeeping requirements.
Responsible and Accountable for ensuring candidates comply with all new hire paperwork.
Monitor status of candidate pipeline and alerts appropriately any issues or concerns related to the candidate experience or on-boarding process, including that with gaming/license process.
Responsible and Accountable for accurate and timely transition of new hire file to Talent Management Business Partner upon completion of hire (first day of New Employee Orientation.)
Identifies opportunities for improvement within the onboarding processes related to candidate data base accuracy and management.
Escalates time sensitive and/or high impact inquiries.
Assist new hires and current employees with troubleshooting minor technology or system issues specific to the application.
Perform other onboarding related duties as assigned.
Recruitment
Support execution of recruitment/ hiring events in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
Accountable for developing, analyzing and interpreting reports and submit weekly operational insights and analysis on Recruiting metrics (Time to fill, Quality of hire etc.)
Represents the Talent Acquisition department, as needed at community events and recruitment venues.
Actively participates in sourcing, recruiting, monitoring and assisting candidates through our applicant and onboarding process.
Perform other recruiting related duties as assigned.
Other Duties
Collaborates effectively with others in order to execute tasks and fulfill key deliverables within the HR functional area(s) in order to develop credibility. Integrates efficiently with team members in the functional area(s), seeking input/assistance as needed. Strives to gather and share information to allow for transparent knowledge transfer and effective overall capability of the HR functional team.
Answer inbound calls from both internal and external customers and assist with the application process, job posting questions, and making changes in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Cultivates a high level of trust with all internal partners, stakeholders and team members. Portrays a positive, professional, customer and delivery orientated image of the company. Seeks to drive results and beneficial outcomes for the HR functional area team(s) and the customer at all times.
Assists and encourage users and internal partners to make effective use of ESS/MSS and other self-service options, systems, products, services, etc. in order to drive rapid resolution and empower the customer. Educates and informs internal partners of the full range of HR services available to them.
Demonstrates proper management of highly sensitive and confidential information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or related field required.
Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Minimum of One (1) year experience in a Human Resources department. Equivalent experience in hospitality function, may be considered in lieu.
Highly ethical and discreet, with ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong time management, judgment, meticulous attention to detail and problem solving skills. Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and reporting skills. Capable of producing accurate written communication that is clear, concise and complete.
Strong project management skills with excellent follow-up and follow-through.
Proven ability to successfully match applicants within a wide range of job classifications.
Provide exceptional customer/guest service and telephone etiquette in alignment with standards.
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Works to establish personal rapport with internal and external clients, is easy to approach, and acts with sensitivity and patience.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts; including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
At least One (1) year in the Hotel/Casino Hospitality industry and previous customer/guest service experience.
PHR, SPHR certified.
Familiarity with Recruitment and HR software programs (i.e., ATS like JobVite, Hodes, Workday, etc).
Bilingual.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
