Supervisor, Talent Infrastructure Ops

The Talent Infrastructure team at San Manuel serves as the primary is responsible for the systems, processes and records management of the employee lifecycle documentation. Reporting to the Talent Infrastructure Operations Manager, the Talent Infrastructure Operations Supervisor will be responsible for operational oversight of both the Onboarding and off boarding function and experiences. This role will collaborate cross-functionally on projects and programs support, as well as work closely with the HR leadership on driving continuous improvement in the Onboarding and Off boarding systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise the successful execution of an efficient and effective onboarding candidate experience for internal and external candidates. Manage and provide a flawless candidate experience through the hiring lifecycle.
Supervise the successful execution of an efficient and effective Off boarding employee experience for voluntary and involuntary terminations.
Maximize overall transaction accuracy and efficiency as related to the new hire process, employee transfers, promotions and terminations including all interim employee transactions and electronic and manual recordkeeping requirements.
Responsible for ensuring candidates new hire paperwork complies with all applicable federal and state laws. Keep updated on changes in laws, regulations and guidelines and provide training when needed for the team members performing Onboarding and Off boarding activities.
Monitor status of candidate pipeline and alerts HR team to any issues or concerns related to the candidate experience or on-boarding process.
Monitor status of employee status changes and alerts HR team to any issues or concerns related to the employee lifecycle processes.
Responsible for accurate and timely transition upon completion of the new hires' first day of New Employee Orientation.
Responsible for tracking and reporting on 30, 60, 90, 120 day new hire experience.
Responsible for tracking and reporting on 60, 90 day follow-up activities for voluntary terminations that the organization may want to rehire.
Lead, support and assist in special projects as assigned, including process improvements.
Supervise the performance, duties and goals of the assigned Talent Infrastructure team members assigned to On boarding and Off boarding responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned to support the business needs of the department and organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises Talent Infrastructure team members under the direction of the Talent Infrastructure Operations Manager. The Talent Infrastructure Operations Supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
Minimum of Three (3) years' experience in a Human Resources department.
Highly ethical and discreet, with ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
Strong time management, judgment, meticulous attention to detail and problem solving skills. Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and reporting skills. Capable of producing accurate written communication that is clear, concise and complete. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Strong project management skills with excellent follow-up and follow-through.
Provide exceptional customer/guest service and telephone etiquette in alignment with standards.
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Works to establish personal rapport with internal and external clients, is easy to approach, and acts with sensitivity and patience.
Must have a passion for people and a mind-set to exceed customer expectations.
Must exhibit a positive attitude, respect for others, a result-oriented approach and ability to work independently as well as collectively.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts; including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
At least One (1) year providing Onboarding and/or Off boarding services as a member of a Human Resources department.
Supervisory experience.
Experience in Talent Acquisition or HR records keeping management.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR software programs (i.e., like Ultipro, JobVite, Workday, etc).
Bilingual.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
