Cashier, Big Mo

An outgoing, friendly personality and prior high-volume cash handling experience are just what you need to be a Cashier for the Food Court at the San Manuel Casino.
Our detail oriented cashiers are responsible for greeting all internal and external customers with a smile, processing sales through cash register operations quickly, accurately and efficiently while safeguarding company assets.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of three (3) months high volume cash handling work experience
Must have basic math skills
Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Possess or ability to obtain a current Food Handler Card & negative TB test results
Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in the English language
Must be well groomed and able to adhere to company dress code
Demonstrated professional conduct, performance and appearance
Ability to remain composed, attentive, understanding, and pleasant in a fast-paced, high-demand, customer service environment
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to read, write and speak in the English language.
Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
Exemplary customer service skills and demonstrated ability to work well with others required.
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

The physical demands and working environment described here are representative of those that an employee encounters and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled restaurant environment within a gaming facility.
Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, high-demand environment.
The employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
