Inventory Control Clerk, Retail

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for all assets of the department to include maintaining logs of inventory, verifying, disposing, and transferring when needed to include all inventory.
Monitor and maintain the property database; ensure the accuracy of all inventory data.
Responsible for receiving and stocking product in All Stores.
Communicate with purchasing on delivery shortages and mis-picks.
Responsible for weekly counts on selected items; verify packing slips and invoices.
Troubleshoot, log and correct any inaccuracies pertaining to the packing slips.
Monitor stock held at the Service Center for reordering purposes.
Assist with inventory counts in All Stores.
Performs and accurately records retail transactions including cash, credit cards, Earned Rewards and comps through a Point of Sale system using proper procedures.
Maintains a cash drawer and balances drawer at end of shift maintaining a minimum of variances.
Responsible for daily housekeeping of the store, straightening merchandise, dusting and cleaning.
Maintain thorough knowledge of Club Serrano and all current and upcoming promotions.
Other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service environment required.
Minimum of one (1) year of cash handling experience required.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access necessary.
Experience using Eatec, InfoGenesis.
Employee must have experience demonstrating the utmost discretion as they will have access to private information such as Social Security Numbers, credit cards, personal data or financial data from colleagues, personnel or customers
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Must have a valid Driver's license with acceptable driving record as defined by the company insurance carrier.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
