Talent Acquisition Coordinator

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an integral role supporting the recruiting function, and contributes to the overall success of the team by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and project coordination throughout the recruiting process. The Coordinator will assist in creating and maintaining a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the hiring life-cycle. The Coordinator is responsible for timely and accurate scheduling interview coordination for candidates, and supporting pre-employment transaction processing for new hires. While reporting to Director of Talent Acquisition you will be supporting the efforts of the Talent Acquisition team and working within a matrix team environment.
This position will require you to develop an understanding of our recruiting processes for candidate management, benefits, relocation policy, government regulation compliance, company policy administration, and other related activities in support of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the coordination and administration of routine, TA transactions.
Assist with Requisition creation and candidate status management.
Schedule interviews for candidates. Arrange travel and lodging, and support processing reimbursements, when needed.
New hire processing ? conduct reference checks, support the background check process management, new hire paperwork.
Maintain professional relationships with community college and university placement offices
Provide administrative support to the Director of Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition team.
Prepare relocation forms, offer letter payout requests and other recruiting correspondence.
Assist in the coordination of job/career fairs with team members.
Manages relationships with external vendors and supports processing of invoices.
Conduct searches/sourcing for open roles as tasked.
Tracks the post-hire candidate experience, following up with.
Generate reports related to your work at a defined cadence.
Work in Applicant Tracking System to support administrative recruiting functions, track candidates, and retrieve data.
Interface with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
High School Diploma or GED required
Entry level experience in an administrative role, preferably with an HR-focus.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment.
Comfortable with change and ability to adapt quickly.
Ability to manage a sometimes unpredictable workload.
Polished and professional presentation and communication style; capable of communicating complex content in a succinct manner in-person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.
Ability to guide processes to closure. Attention to detail, high level of prioritization and organizational skills in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
Strong grasp of Microsoft Suite ? with focus on Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel required.
Internet research skills required.
Social media savvy especially LinkedIn.
Excellent desk/computer/workflow organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Internship and/or 1 to 2 years of experience in a role in HR, project, or program coordination, or a role involving data entry.
Experience with an applicant tracking system or CRM. Experience or knowledge of the Recruiting process.
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
