Exchange Administrator

Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations, the Exchange Administrator?s role is to manage the Exchange servers and related components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported. This highly influential and technical individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure Exchange provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning?Participates in and supports capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for Exchange-based messaging and collaboration solutions in conjunction with end-users and department managers.Acquisition & Development?Coordinates with network engineering, business application, and database administration functions to implement Exchange systems that utilize industry best practices to meet enterprise objectives.?Installs, configures, and initiates Microsoft Exchange servers, software, and any required equipment.Operational Management?Performs all tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements regarding Exchange-based messaging and collaboration availability and security; including those involving user accounts, shared folders/calendars, mailing lists, and Outlook Web Access.?Implements policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure Exchange server security through secure access, monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations.?Manages Exchange database(s), antivirus applications, messaging filtering, and error log tracking.?Recommends, schedules, and performs software patches, upgrades, and/or purchases.?Ensures that Exchange server implementations comply with policies, standards, licensing agreements, and configuration guidelines.?Remains informed on laws, trends, and issues, including current and emerging technologies and best practices related to Exchange and e-messaging.?Performs message archiving, retrieval, and deletion according to best-practices for maintaining regulatory compliance.?Anticipates, mitigates, identifies, responds to, and resolves problems affecting messaging systems performance, efficiency, and availability.?Provides on-call technical support for end users.?Supports application development teams and software migrations to new e-mail server platforms or newer versions of Exchange.?Monitors, tests, and analyzes e-mail system and server software activities to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and availability.?Assesses need for any messaging system reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required.?Creates required reports in response to business needs.?Develops, implements, documents, and maintains policies, procedures, and associated training plans for messaging system administration and appropriate use.Education/Experience/Qualifications?Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science with minimum of five (5) years related work experience required.?Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor?s Degree.?Proven experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016 administration.?Working technical knowledge of current messaging and collaboration systems software, protocols, and standards, including Microsoft SharePoint, AirWatch, CommVault E-Discovery, Exclaimer and Proofpoint.?Knowledge of industry best practices for e-mail privacy and regulatory compliance, routing, filtering, monitoring, tiered storage, backup, and disaster recovery.?Strong working knowledge of patch management and change control practices.?Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.?Extensive experience with Active Directory.?Extensive support experience with IIS and .NET application architecture.?Working technical knowledge of clustered Exchange 2010/2016 DAG architecture.?Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database management.?Experience with high-availability design (failover systems and data replication).?Experience with server virtualization technologies (VMWare).?Previous migration experience to Exchange 2016.?Good understanding of the organization?s goals and objectives.?Extensive understanding of messaging environments and integrations with 3rd party products.?Experience with GPO Policies with Outlook.Certificates/Licenses/Registrations?Certifications including MCSE: Messaging (Exchange 2010, 2016 & Office 365) highly desired.?At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and San Manuel Casino will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. - provided by Dice

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
