Under the direction of the Uniforms Supervisor, the Apparel Clerk is responsible for inventorying, storing, fitting, issuing, ordering and restocking clothing and accessories in the Uniform Department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all employees and guests.
Ensure proper distribution and accurate recordkeeping of employee garments in accordance with company policies.
Perform new hire fittings and mark alterations, assist employees with uniform exchange, and collect/inspect uniforms from terminated or transferred employees.
Assist with maintaining filing system containing employee assigned uniform, purchases and exchanges.
Assist Uniforms Supervisor in maintaining stock par levels, creating purchase requisitions and tracking orders.
Receives all orders and reconciles each shipment with the requisition order and packing slips. Barcodes items before entering into the inventory system.
Complete inventory fulfillment of requisitioned orders using InvoTech system.
Participate in physical inventories.
Communicate payroll deductions for purchase of additional or replacement wardrobe items.
Issue departmental reports of uniform items that are ready to be picked up and other reports as needed.
Identify obsolete and damaged garments, gains approval for disposition and maintains accurate records for items that are donated or destroyed.
Using company vehicle, delivers items to other locations and/or donation sites.
Work with various vendors regarding samples, price quotes, art work and status of orders and/or problems with items received.
Send items to laundry/dry-cleaner, determining department to be expensed.
Maintain wardrobe working areas, machines, tools, supplies and equipment in a clean, orderly, safe and operable manner.
Be a team player with ability to maintain composure and display a positive attitude at all times.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum six (6) months related experience and/or training required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of education requirement.
Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word and preferred Excel), Database software, Internet software, Inventory software and Order processing systems desirable.
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
A qualified candidate/employee must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company's insurance carrier.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
