Bellperson - Hotel

Under the direction of the Hotel Front Office Manager and Hotel Front Office Supervisor, the Hotel Bellperson is responsible for acting as a representative of the hotel to all internal and external guests, ensuring that the highest standards of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians brand is upheld. Ensure that guest expectations are exceeded through the check-in and check-out processes, in person and through telephone and other communications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Greet and escort guests to rooms.
Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving property.
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services).
Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
Assist guests in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.
Supply guests with directions.
Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed.
Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems,safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional. If not dressed properly, may be sent home.
Assists with room deliveries as needed.
Reports any problems or concerns to their immediate supervisor.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong English skills, both oral and written.
Must provide at least two unexpired, Right To Work documents; a valid social security card, a U.S. birth certificate, a Native American Tribal document, U.S. citizen ID Card, a resident citizen ID card, an U.S. passport, or employment authorization documents issued by the Department of Homeland Security.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
