Recruiting Manager, Human Resources

Summary
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiting Manager will lead a team of recruiters to develop & implement flexible Talent Acquisition (TA) strategies to meet the continued growth needs of San Manuel. This role is heavily focused on optimizing the use of TA technology; developing, synthesizing and reporting key TA metrics; and providing excellent candidate and hiring manager experience. The Recruiting Manager in conjunction with HR business partners, will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, and identify opportunities to enhance TA advisory capability. This role will lead and participate in recruiting process standardization, documentation and process improvement initiatives vital to the success of our organization goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manages a team of Recruiters to source qualified pipeline of candidates, ensuring robust review and screening practices are followed - to hire quality talent for a wide range of roles across the organization
Build and maintain strong relationships with the San Manuel Casino and Government Operations Hiring Managers; identifying their talent needs, while ensuring strong communication and implementation of measurable deliverables
Develop, analyze and report on key TA metrics with stakeholders across the organization e.g. time to fill, cost per hire, hiring cycle time, quality of hire, etc.
Lead meetings with key stakeholders across the organization to serve as their day-to-day TA subject matter expert
Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement of the TA function, collaborating with stakeholders to implement processes, policies and ensure compliance
Partner with HR Business Partners to provide effective thought-leadership in the Talent Acquisition domain and real-time solutions to the hiring managers
Collaborate with Manager of Recruiting Partnerships to identify and organize recruiting events (meetups, diversity events, job fairs, etc.) Partner to drive campus recruitment and internship initiatives
Partner with the Onboarding team to provide a great candidate and new hire experience that aligns with organization vision and values.
Develop an internal campaign to drive creation and adoption of an employee referral program
Partner with Marketing team to create stories that enhance employer brand value of San Manuel
Improve the adoption of JobVites and Publisher modules of the JobVite ATS among internal stakeholders and hiring managers
Lead diversity efforts and drive recruiting best practices
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role will supervise a team of Recruiters, and will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include guiding & training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
Required Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or other related field. Preferred Master's degree in HR and/or related discipline. PHR/SPHR certification a plus
Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience in a high volume recruiting environment, preferably in the hospitality, resort or casino industry
5+ years of experience leading a full-service recruiting team, instilling trust and credibility by guiding, developing, coaching and managing their performance
Proven analytical skills and ability to work with tools, metrics, data, and trends to drive performance and provide insights for senior leadership. Experience managing business outcomes through a data-centric approach to identify areas of opportunity
Prior experience in optimizing TA processes and reporting capability on an Applicant Tracking System. Experience with Workday and JobVite ATS a plus.
Demonstrated success in environments that require significant influencing and partnership to accomplish recruiting agendas. Proven ability to develop strong internal client relationships, leveraging strong consultative skills
Proven experience managing the full life cycle talent acquisition strategy to include: short and long-term recruitment planning, resource allocation and deployment, hands-on leadership of a recruiting team, performance metrics, reporting, employment branding and EEO compliance
Proven experience using staffing tools and systems including ATS's, social media recruitment tools, and job databases
Preferred experience in defining and executing attraction, outreach, and lead generation strategies through various channels to meet high volume recruiting objectives
Project management experience that enables flawless implementation of the various tactics and a great candidate experience
Experience creating presentations and business cases and presenting them to senior leaders
Experience leveraging social media, community sites, industry groups, and internet sourcing platforms to connect with hard to reach candidates
Experience speaking at events, on panels and/or universities in a talent sourcing or recruiting capacity
Highly articulate, with excellent writing skills
Results-oriented mindset
Ability to travel 25-40%
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
Must undergo and successfully pass extensive background investigation conducted by the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission to obtain and maintain a Class "A" Gaming license issued by the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
