Junior Host

Our Guest Services department strives to create and establish a consistent and successful environment for both employees and customers that supports consistent delivery of exceptional quality service and creates loyal customers. Our Junior Executive Host is an integral part of the Guest Services department and works closely with the Executive Host team member, collaborating and ensuring that our quality service standards are exceeded on a daily basis.
Reporting to the Player Development Manager, the Junior Host will be responsible for providing a positive and enjoyable guest experience by meeting the established quality service standards and processes designed to consistently raise the level of customer satisfaction. The successful Junior Host will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and possess a gracious and enthusiastic demeanor as they greet and respond to our guests in a positive manner and bring satisfaction to our guests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Greets VIP guests in the casino and participates and assists with events and promotions.
Extends complimentary items and services to guests within the guidelines established by management and the organization.
Collaborates with hosts to meet departmental goals established by management.
Maximizes relationship building skills by acting as an effective liaison between casino guests and hosts/management.
Provides up to date and accurate Serrano Club Players Card membership information to all guests.
Develops excellent rapport with guests to engender brand loyalty and foster repeat business.
Troubleshoots and handles difficult guest situations in a calm and professional manner, balancing the interests of the customer and the company.
Obtains and provides a timely and on-going flow of information to all casino guests.
Tracks and monitors guest feedback and participation on an on-going basis to determine program effectiveness.
Ensures full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations.
Exceeds customer expectations and remains passionate about service improvements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Three (3) years of experience in a customer service environment required; casino or hotel experience preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
