Casino Executive Communications Multimedia Specialist

Under the direction of, and reporting to, the Director, Casino Executive Communications, the Casino Executive Communications Multimedia Specialist (Multimedia Specialist) will help develop, write and produce a wide range of communication and are responsible for developing the visual language and brand for all communications coming from the Office of the General Manager. They will work closely with C-suite level executives to develop templates, themes and presentations for a variety of complex communication projects and activities that require a high degree of knowledge of San Manuel's Casino and Tribal operations. This role will establish the visual brand for these multi-faceted communications and will drive, along with a partner, the storytelling of our business. This position may include conducting and/or collecting research, making recommendations, and implementing solutions to achieve the Office of the General Manager's communication project goals and objectives.
Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for the design and production of all in-house executive communication content utilizing a wide range of photography, video, motion, audio, computer graphics, photography, infographics and presentation programs like Keynote and PowerPoint. The Multimedia Specialist will assist in writing copy, video scripts and presentations for a variety of forums including business reviews, all-team employee events, yearly recap videos, amongst others. They will be responsible for developing templates that visually tell the story of the casino, our business and our team, that will be viewed both externally and internally.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Simultaneously manages multiple content projects with quick turnaround time.
Writes copy and can tell a story through multiple mediums: video, presentation, etc.
Produces and maintains a current digital photo and video library of the highest quality.
Ability to shoot high quality photography, videography for various events.
Create audience-specific (external & internal) content that demonstrates a deep understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs.
Assist in writing, editing and proofing written content for digital and traditional communication channels.
Assist in developing of strategic communications for senior executive remarks, presentations and other media.
Works closely with various team members to manage production process: reviews, feedback, approvals
Keep the templates and design of communications coming out of the Office of the General Manager, fresh, modern and sophisticated across PowerPoint, keynote and video.
Prioritize assignments and coordinate the flow of information from various contributors to meet deadlines.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum five (5) years' experience in an integrated Producer in TV, film, digital, video or social media position.
Must show advanced skill in the utilization of industry standard software such as: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud specific skills, licenses and certifications.
Experience shooting with DSLR or other HD cameras.
Must know the in's and out's of transcoding video to various formats. Must have basic stage and lighting experience.
Experience with developing content and messaging.
Extensive experience with presentations, Keynote, PowerPoint and marketing design is required.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated experience across a wide range of traditional and emerging channels.

A strong written and verbal communicator adept at working with a range of consumer, business and governmental audiences of varying education levels internally and externally.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
