Job Objective

I am seeking an Administrative Assistant position that will benefit from my experience and contribute to my professional growth.

Financial Statement and RFP Administrator, Word Processing Senior, and Trainer.

Responsibilities: I am responsible for the preparation of financial statements in Word, Excel, Adobe Professional, and Pfx Engagement including the typing, proofing, verifying calculations, revisions, submittal to partners for review, and final assembly.  I am also in charge of identifying request for proposals that may be of interest to the firm. I analyze the request for proposal and prepare a draft proposal for the partner’s review. I then edit their work and submit the proposal to the company by the required deadline. In addition, I assemble tax returns and maintain the electronic project log for tax returns, financial statements, and other projects that require tracking, ensuring that the partners have completed all projects prior to their due date.  I perform data-entry functions for a major restaurant chain using MAS90 and Excel. Email communications are used in assigning tasks and informing employees of work assignment progress and completion. My duties also include communications with clients using email, telephone, and a secure online portal.


Kicak and Associates/City of Grand Terrace, Grand Terrace, CA.                               From August 1988 – To November 1994

Administrative Assistant to City Engineer.

Responsibilities: I prepared large documents, such as specifications and reports for the City of Grand Terrace, as well as other cities in which the City Engineer was a consultant.  As the assistant to the City Building Inspector, I also prepared and issued building permits and scheduled building inspections via telephone.  I used Word Perfect 5.1 and Word Perfect 6.0 for Windows for preparation of all documents.

In April 2015, I gave a continuing professional education course to partners and accounting staff on how to prepare financial statements. I also gave demonstrations and examples on how to maneuver through Word, Excel, and Adobe Professional efficiently. My course outline featuring tips, tricks, and examples was posted to our company intranet for quick reference.

For over 22 years, I have prepared financial statements for cotton growers, almond hullers, fruit growers, restaurants, manufacturers, nonprofits, and government clients. I have also trained and supervised new full-time and part-time employees to assist me in these duties.

Special Skills

I am an expert using the Microsoft Office Suite. I also create forms for the office use using Adobe Professional and am able to use Adobe Professional tools to edit documents and verify changes. I am very fast at typing, data entry, and using a ten-key calculator.
